The current seaweed sector is fragmented and uncoordinated. The industry needs to grow safely and sustainably with workers, consumers and the marine environment in mind. This can be achieved by:

• Developing global (& regional when needed) Safety Standards and regulations,
• Developing and sharing best practices and technical knowledge,
• Improving skills through training and webinars to ensure adherence to safety protocols

The Safe Seaweed Coalition's ambition is to build and lead an innovative global partnership, connecting all seaweed stakeholders to generate more investments in a scalable initiative.

The coalition seeks members worldwide to give inputs to coordinate global actions.

This Greenhouse aims at:

• Connecting all stakeholders working in the Industry (through our directory and solutions pages), 
• Presenting the partners and stakeholders working on solutions
• Informing members about the latest news of the Industry (including regulations), research and reports (including best practices), and events.

The Greenhouse Forum enables members to ask and answer questions (about technologies, regulations, knowledge, etc.).
