Best Practices On Beverage Recycling

For many years, EU Member States have implemented the collection, sorting, and effective recycling of used beverage cartons. This document is meant to increase recognition of the recyclability of beverage cartons and demonstrate what stakeholders in the value chain can do to promote more collection and recycling in the future. As a first step, the industry is seeking to identify the best practices in the collection and recycling of beverage cartons. They will be creating a Design for Recycling Guideline to provide more detailed technical advice to ensure the recyclability of beverage cartons, with the aim of delivering it by the start of 2021.
