CO2 Utilisation Roadmap


According to the The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), "They have developed a Carbon Dioxide Utilization Roadmap that explores the risks and opportunities associated with the scale-up of carbon capture and utilization in Australia." The Roadmap identifies four opportunity areas for Australia to pursue:

  • Direct use of carbon dioxide
  • mineral carbonation
  • conversion of carbon dioxide to create chemicals and fuels
  • Biological conversion
