Costs and effects of a deposit on small bottles and cans
The current deposit system in the Netherlands includes large PET bottles, small refillable soft drink bottles in the catering industry and refillable beer bottles. Other packaging is excluded. The Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment has asked CE Delft to investigate the costs and (environmental) effects of introducing deposits for small bottles and cans. This information serves as input for a comparison of different systems in the policy assessment. This report, originally in Dutch, presents the results of the research.
