Knowledge Management Guidelines

Statuses are the same as solutions. Admins recommend blogs through the chrome extension. The required fields are name, link, blog author, and summary. While solutions are handled by Innodata and Cammie, each admin is responsible for their own news, knowledge, events, and partner pages. Knowledge should be focused on case studies, best practices, reports, how-to guides. Not podcasts, videos, books, courses.
APA Guidelines: https://www.grammarcheck.net/capitalization-in-titles-101/#:~:text=1)%20Never%20capitalize%20prepositions%20and,or%20preposition%2C%20must%20be%20capitalized
Feature image size: 888 max width x 320 max height but width is based on size of window
Card image: max height is 160, width 306 - auto-selected from the feature image
When editing the blog in active admin, make sure title and author are included
Make sure SOURCE field in active admin is filled with source link
All first letters of the title should be capitalized except articles/prepositions such as “a, an, the, of, and, at, by, to, but.” The other exception is if any of these occur as the first word then capitalize.
Author style is: Full name with first letter capitalized for all words and then the acronym in parenthesis. “For example: World Resource Institute (WRI).”
When more than two authors are listed use the following style: first listed first name, last name, et al. Example, “Ananya Gupta et al.” If only 2 writers, use an & symbol: Cammie Caldwell & Ananya Gupta in ONE blog author field.
Copy paste a short paragraph from the source into CHAT GPT and write: “Summarize this content in about 150 words for a professional audience, protecting from copyright. Give me 10 keywords at the end, separated by commas” Copy and paste whatever chat GPT gives you into after checking to make sure it’s readable and makes sense.
If an active knowledge post has already been paraphrased, you can leave as is with no author reference or quotations. If you are unsure whether paraphrased or not, simply copy & paste a short paragraph from the source and follow copyright instructions above with “According to” and quotes.
For the knowledge summary field, write a short 1-2 sentence summary about the knowledge post- just get the main point across.
If it’s a report with a distinct cover, you may use the cover as the in-text image/feature image. For example: https://ubuntoo.com/k/banking-on-climate-chaos Do not use images from inside the piece of knowledge, we do not know who may own them.
Knowledge should be focused on case studies, best practices, reports, how-to guides. Not podcasts, videos, books, courses.
